I agree on Noble.

Best we have I'm afraid..and he is suited to a counter attacking side...was very good at the clay heads

When he has to dictate at home he's woeful...

Obiang just reminds me of buster

Re: Michail Antonio
Have to say, i know hes had injury's and operations etc but like Cresswell he seems to have lost his football mojo since returning.

Both need to wake up to the fact they have become a bit shit and knuckle down and work harder to regain there form IMO.

I would play BUSTER on the right

But he fought the law...and the ĺaw won...

His race is run...
Shame ..he had plenty to say

This knob was on 5live yesterday, banging on yet AGAIN about the trials and tribulations of his meteoric rise from non-league to PL. It's nigh time someone told this grinning prick to concentrate on playing football again.

I reckon most of Nobles bad performances were when he’s surrounded by slow, poor or out of form players. When he has fast and technically astute players around him, who show intelligent movement, he shines.

His best stuff was with Tevez and Payet, more so the latter as we also had Lanzini, and an in form Antonio and Cresswell etc.

We really need him back, and our better players to get or stay fit. That would be enough to survive with ease. All that and one or two more weeks quality midfielders would be best.

Re: Michail Antonio
Noble was fucking awful at the start but after coming back from being dropped by Moyes he had some of the best games I've seen him play for a long time.

Re: Michail Antonio
Lily is right. Our recent results have been much better when Noble has played.

Re: Michail Antonio
100% it’s Noble we missed most. It’s typical that when we have had Noble, so often many pacey players have been missing. With Arnie, Masuaku, Lanzini, Antonio, Hernandez all in, making good runs, Noble shines much more.

Until we buy two or three better midfielders, we need him back ASAP.

I like Noble but I don't think he has too much effect on our fortunes on the pitch anymore.

Re: Michail Antonio

I agree we did miss him. If you're going to play long ball and rely on set pieces you need your best headers of the ball playing.

Don't know if it's injury or what, but there's definitely something wrong with this bloke.

I think we missed Mark Noble more...

Re: Michail Antonio
Missed him today imo. A crucial outlet for us. Bournemouth pushed right onto us simply because there was nothing to fear.

Re: Michail Antonio
I think we need to let Bilic go, he’s gone because he wasn’t doing a good job anymore.

Anyway. He wasn’t a right back he’s beat spell for when was when he right on the wing. He was always out of position at full back.

He’s quick and strong just needs to get fitter and he always looked nakered.

Willtell 10:08 Tue Dec 26
Re: Michail Antonio
He was always a technically limited player that got by on enthusiasm, speed and work rate. He's going through a rough patch which has nothing to do with Bilic.

Well, other than the team are playing shit and he no longer surprises defenders. I still like him and would rather have him than Carroll, Sakho, Ayew and Chicharito in the side.

Frankly as a forward Antonio makes a good wing back and just needs to learn to defend. I think that's one thing Bilic got right but at the wrong time.

We could avoid all these grammatical issues if we just stuck to 'fat, stupid, lazy cunt'. Which he is.

Even worse than typing 'worse' instead of 'worst'. And, yes, that is fucking bad, too.

The worse thing than what?

Re: Michail Antonio
The worse thing about this thread is the persistent misuse of the word 'disinterested' in place of the correct 'uninterested'.

Sharpen the fuck up all of you.

Oh, and a Merry Christmas to one and all!
